The  Conference will cover plenary sessions, panel discussions, paper presentations and tutorials.

The SGSMA International Conference on Synchronized Measurements and Analytics (SGSMA 2019)  will be held on May 20-23, 2019 at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.

Student Travel Grants:

Ten travel grants up to $1,500 each will be awarded. The eligible IEEE-PES student members with accepted papers will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

Notification:

  • Notifications will be sent by email to the applicants by February 15, 2019.

Non-Student Travel Grants:

Travel grants up to $1,500 each will be awarded to IEEE PES members with accepted papers or participants in other conference events, but other conference attendees will be considered too. Preference will be given to early career university faculty and industry staff involved in synchrophasor projects.

The travel grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so submit your application as soon as possible. Notifications will be sent by email to the applicants by February 15, 2019.

Each travel grant will reimburse travelers for the early bird registration fee and cover the hotel accommodation in hotel rooms booked by the organizers. The grant may also be used to offset the recipient’s expenses for airfare, ground transportation and meals. More information on the reimbursement process will be provided to the travel grant recipients.
